David’s remarkable career spans 49 years and includes 264 publications in scientific journals, making a huge contribution to new knowledge that has changed the global livestock industry and developed a whole value chain approach to animal production.

Peter’s extensive experience includes affiliation with the Australian Intercollegiate Meat Judging Association, Elders Killara feedlot, the Beef CRC, and Meat Standards Australia, researching factors along the supply chain that impact beef and lamb EQ.

Sarah is a former cattle veterinarian turned meat scientist, leading the development & commercialisation of EQ devices in beef, lamb & pork

Dr Sean Miller

Sean works closely with abattoirs and supply chains to help them extract more value via objective carcase measurement, leading to demand for better carcases and financial signals to farmers, and the adoption of improved production systems.

Dr Stephanie Fowler
NSW DPI
Stephanie is a research meat scientist at the NSW DPI’s Centre for Red Meat & Sheep Development, currently focused on objective measurement technologies for carcase assessment, including the development and validation of near infrared spectroscopy to predict the intramuscular fat content of lamb.

Kate is a former veterinarian with a PhD in beef meat quality. Kate is part of the microwave team, assisting the development and commercialisation of this device as a LMY objective technology.

Venkata Pamarla

Venkata has a Masters in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering from RMIT University. He is particularly skilled in antenna design, high-frequency electromagnetics, and microwave circuits. He currently works within the microwave team, designing and testing compact antennas and microwave components.
